Homework Expectations
Homework expectations
Regular homework plays a crucial role in the educational development of our pupils. It reinforces classroom learning by providing pupils with the opportunity to practice and consolidate what they have learned during school hours. This repetition is essential for the retention of knowledge and the mastery of fundamental concepts. Homework also encourages students to take responsibility for their own learning, fostering important skills such as time management and self-discipline from a young age. These skills not only benefit them academically but also serve as valuable life skills that will carry them through their entire education and beyond.
With all that in mind we would like to communicate our expectations of homework to all parents and carers.
